I am currently using a free crossroads map from the toolbox which contains no scripts.
I was wondering if basically ALL free models are safe? And don’t contain viruses like free scripts can? Because without code, what could they possibly do?
I’m a scripter so I don’t need free scripts but I do need some free models.
Are there also techniques to ensure free models are safe or?
I mean if they don’t have scripts inside of them I think they are safe. but the textures you need to lookout for. if textures in free models have code bars and stuff like that you will get banned.
Like there free models with no code but with wierd characters in stuff I still don’t understand that virus and how it works what I like to know but it have wierd emotes and I think no scripts but I’m not sure since I never placed the models it have cuz I’m only used toolbox for about 2 weeks it says something like•••danggg••••••you got owned(?emote)(?emote)
I’ve come across some free models in Roblox that don’t seem to have any code but include weird characters and emotes like “•••danggg••••••you got owned(?emote)(?emote).” I’m not sure if these models contain hidden scripts or viruses, as I haven’t placed them in my game. I used the toolbox for only the first two weeks of my development career and I’d like to understand how such viruses work.
