Are BillboardGui loaded even when not on the screen?

Sorry if this is the wrong topic!

I’m just curious if BillboardGui’s are still loaded when not on your screen. I know of MaxDistance, but I’m not talking about like distance from the Gui. But if your character is within the distance, but the UI isn’t on your screen (cause your facing away from it)
