Are diseases allowed?

I would like to know if diseases are allowed.
If they are allowed, what are the limits to what I can do?
(when I say limits I mean stuff like: cures and symptoms)

I’m not trying to be funny, but what does this even mean? What kind of diseases? I mean what kind of question are we answering here with 0 context? When you post things, please try to add context or at least explain what you’re trying to do, and then ask a question like this so that the viewers/potential people that can help you, will be able to understand what’s going on here and how they can assist you.

I want to create a disease system, but I don’t know what I’m allowed to do when creating it.

There are so many technicalities ROBLOX can slap you with its almost best to just keep it as absolutely PG and watered down as possible.

As far as diseases go. Depicting real world harmful events is directly in violation with TOS, so if you mean SARS / COVID / Pandemics then definitely don’t do that. If a player injects themselves and dies this could be considered against the suicide TOS clause. There’s also gore clause, if someone starts bleeding out there eyeballs, again could be seen as Against TOS.

I think the only way to portray disease without being at least alittlebit in violation of TOS is something like a zombie infection game mode anything else is murky waters.

But it really only matters if your front page, and if your front page ROBLOX will probably want to work to get you in compliance rather then just straight up banning you game.

TLDR: read the TOS, If ROBLOX decides to ban your game you have no repercussion, if you directly violate it. DO NOT PUT IT ON CONSOLE. take it from me, I worked on Guillotine tycoon.

So I probably can’t create anything related to diseases?

So just no real life diseases and no gore?

In my opinion yes but roblox may be different, just to be safe you should read the community standards I linked here https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203313410-Roblox-Community-Standards#:~:text=Although%20some%20experiences%20on%20Roblox,gore%2C%20graphic%20violence%2C%20or%20death

Well i was referencing specific parts of the TOS and what is specifically prohibited. Google guillotine tycoon, there is nothing gore about that game, no blood extremely cartoony. Lego people say “oof” and there head plops off. The tos i was cited to be in violation of was “torture.” Yet some how combat warriors Exist, Roblox acts blind.

The point i was trying to make way roblox picks and chooses which tos they enforce on a game by game basis. So its best to adhere to all of it, and if its murky waters make sure its something that can be swapped out so roblox can ask you to change it.
