Are Logo Artists Expected to Design their own Vectors?

Hello, this might be an extremely dumb question, but are logo artists fully expected to design their own vectors used in their logos? In other words, would it be acceptable for most people’s standards if an artist used a free vector from a site in a logo he or she is commissioned for? Take this logo for example (I just randomly selected it from Google)

Say the artist of this logo creates the text themselves, but finds the image of the monster online and uses it (assuming there isn’t any copyright issues).

They most likely drew that themselves. It’s not mandatory to make everything your own, I’ve seen gamepass designers using icons from Flaticon. However, it’s best if you notify your clients if you were to use free vectors and give credit to the original author if necessary.
