This probably isn’t the correct category, but I’m not sure where else to ask this.
I have enabled the “Are Owners Shown” setting and was just wondering what it means when the colored highlights around the object are black? This occurred after trying to set network ownership to the player who is highlighted in white outlines.
Old post but there isn’t a lot of information out there…
The following is based on my limited observations. If someone knows more please say something.
So White means its owned by the server.
Green means its owned by a player
Red means there is a conflict. The player wants to take it over but the server can’t relinquish it (such as when the server tries to directly move the part through a server script, or when a constraint is in use, or when there is a collision between two dynamic parts that don’t share an owner.)
Still not sure what black means.
