Are popular games botting their players?

Hi, everyone!

I have a question…

Are popular Roblox Games botting players, or is it just a Roblox bug?

  • They are botting players.
  • They are not botting players, they’re just new to Roblox.
  • It’s a Roblox Bug.

Why might I be asking this?

When I go to the servers tab for popular games, let’s use Pet Simulator 99 for example, when I go to the servers tab, and click on servers, all the servers are full of bacon hairs.

Yes, I know Pet Simulator 99 is kinda grindy at times, and people want to maximize their chances at getting rare pets, and considering there’s an event extended right now, people are probably using alts to grind, but why is EVERY server filled with these accounts? When I join the server, I don’t even see any of the players. Plus I can’t even depend on clicking that Join Server button, because for all I know those people could be in a seporate game instance inside of the game universe, so I can’t even verify if they are really bots or not.

Let’s use Sol’s RNG as another example (i hate that game).

If you go to the servers tab, in nearly every server you’ll see only at most 1 bacon, which I don’t know how reliable that is considering Pet Simulator 99’s servers are smaller, and Sol’s RNG servers can fit up to 18 players.

If we go to welcome to bloxburg, a lot of players are new to Roblox with the default avatar.

This leaves the big question, are Roblox games like Pet Simulator 99 botting players? Or are they all just alts of people who are trying to maximize chances?

The pictures you shown are interesting, if you ever have the chance go into the game and find the account name and see if there are any similarities. I personally don’t think they are botting the games and if they are it’s not too surprising.

Also to add to this, The games with bacon hairs have other users that are not bacon hairs. It may just be new people exploring Roblox and the popular games.

I personally don’t think so either, but I’m curious why there’s so many accounts that are the default avatar. You can hardly find an account that isn’t. And when you’re in game in your serer, nobody has the default avatar in it.

Odd, I been in servers with many bacon hairs but they do the tasks in Pet Sim 99 and idk if bots are that intelligent yet.

Some of my followers are bots and I have seen bots join and leave games, including my own.

I don’t know why they exist but they do, I personally don’t think it’s the developers doing it.

You have to take into consideration that this is a popular front page game. This means it’s much more likely to be found by newly created accounts.

Sounds like something @BuildIntoGames would do but there is not enough proof. We need an investigation :face_with_monocle:

These are most likely new players or anonymous players.

just found that the “pet simulator 99!” game you linked was actually this random, sketchy game:

At first, I thought this was just a scam game, but if you actually look at the dev group, “Bonana Games”, it’s actually a real, legitimate group!
until…

At page 5 or 6, the group becomes regular people again, but that’s until page 18, when…

At page 20, it becomes normal people (again), until page 23.

This goes on for a while.

So yeah, the “Pet Simulator” you linked is a random clone that bots players to inflate their group (and game) player counts.
Edit: Eventually, the bots turn into bacon hairs.

It is very likely that those users are alt accounts made to AFK farm.
