Long time no see! It’s me again, and you’ve seen my post, you know I’ve been working on a game a while back. Currently, I’m finishing up a build for one spot and going to finish another town, before me and my other friend polish up the place. Afterwards, we’ll need a scripter and since we are both a bit low on Robux, I’m wondering if scripters would be okay with receiving a percentage of Robux based on what the game makes. I know it’s a bit iffy because some games do not do as well as intended or thought of, but I would like to here from the community.
In my opinion it depends on 2 things. 1. If the people hiring have already made a successful game or want you to work on an already existing game that makes enough R$. 2. If the scripter is okay with taking a risk, that risk can be lowered by you willing to cover the ads or by already having solid progress and a team for example. But at the end of the day the scripter will have to deside, if its worth and safe for them to work for %.
Everyone is different, it’s almost an equal possibility. People will choose percent if they think it will be successful, if not, they would usually choose payouts.
