I want to use Surface Appearance in my game, but I had to enable a beta feature to use it I was just wondering if this is visible in-game?

Yes it’s enabled in servers. Add normal, roughness, and metal maps to see the PBR effects 
Roblox never really announced it was live, so a few other people (myself included) only found out relatively recently.
