Are there any plugins for this?

Hey, so I’m struggling with the Studio tools to be able to precisely position parts with the same size right next to each other with no slight difference of position, even though the parts are the same size on an axis, they just don’t line up easily.

For the type of game that I’m working on, it’s important that these parts (spawns) are lined up very precisely; which is why I made each spawn the same size, so they’re easy to place on a level.

Are there any good plugins that will connect those parts together for me?

I just wondered. That’d make life so much easier for me

Thanks!

I don’t understand what you’re trying to do, you can set the Studio Move Tool to move a part any distance you like.

To add on you can just change the position and stuff in the property settings of the part.

@ScytheSlayin

I could, but it’d just be so tedious for the number of parts I need to add per level.

Here’s a video demonstrating what I mean:

Even though the green and gray parts are the exact same size on an axis, it won’t snap perfectly together and be symmetrical with each other.

Like the first reply said, why not use the move tool? Or join surfaces?

I am using the move tool?

I also tried enabling join surfaces, which didn’t really do anything either.

Just wondered if there was a plugin or something that makes this “snapping” more reliable.

There is one plug-in I’ve recently started using to make object moving more precise and easier to move. https://www.roblox.com/library/142314093/qCmdUtl-Streamlined-building

However if you want to use Roblox default tools without actually using a plug in, you can always go to Model>Move> and set that to zero or any number you like, but it won’t be as good as the plugin I’ve provided.

You can try setting the increment to 0.05, then moving the block. Then set it back to what it was before.

Or maybe even just duplicate the black part, then make the increment of the move tool to the length of the black part, because then you just have to drag it once and it will be in the desired position.

Try using Roblox Studio’s Transform tool, should be beside the Rotate under Model tab. Though I suggest reading upon it before using it.

I’ve found any movenent adjustments needed to use this plugin here then any size adjustments on that side, resize the other side with the studs offset of equal to what has been changed.
