Are there any rules against in-aesthetically pleasing formatting?

This is going to be my shortest post ever in this catagory since I’m tired and it’s a simple question just because I’m curious,

Are there any rules against really in-aesthetic / unnecessary post formatting, if I were to give an example:

hi

I was just wondering

if there were any rules

against really annoying
post formatting

Not that I know of, but unless you want to be frowned upon go ahead.

Don’t make your post annoying to navigate like a lot of those hide details thing or spoilers, it can get quite repetitive.

Instead of trying to think of a rule for anything, perhaps just send a person doing this a friendly message explaining why it’s not a good idea to use that kind of formatting.

We don’t need to enforce everything with rules.

I was only asking since I intended to make a forum game where you have to mutilate text by horrible formatting, however I ultimately resolved it wasn’t entertaining enough and I wasn’t bothered to write a story for people to mutilate.
