Are there consequences for donating robux from group to players who want to purchase clothes?

Hello, I was thinking of starting up a clothing group and giving players who can’t afford it 5-10 robux so that they’d be able to purchase them.

This means that there will be alot of transactions to lots of players in amounts of 5 to 20 robux. Would this be against guidelines?

Roblox maintains the Robux system for everyone’s benefit and enjoyment. To keep it fair for everyone, some activity in the Roblox Economy is prohibited, including:
* Using third-party services to buy, sell, trade, or give away Robux. This does not apply to Roblox gift cards.
* Engaging in off-platform, secondary market transactions for account access or virtual content from experiences or Marketplace. This does not apply to account holders selling or transferring the rights to the account’s creations as part of a verifiable agreement.
* Using the group payout system in a fraudulent or misleading manner; including offering payment in Robux for acting as a model for assets, joining groups, referring members, or role-playing in experiences.
* Circumventing Roblox payment systems or fees, including by providing users indirect benefits for purchasing content or packages in other Roblox properties or systems.

It’s not explicitly against TOS I assume, as I’d be donating to people instead of giving away anything. I don’t ask players for anything in return and don’t expect to avoid fees.
I saw a similar method in swordfighting groups where owners would lend me robux to buy their uniforms, but I want to make sure if there was a clear definition if it was alright since I’ve been seeing so many mixed answers from old threads.

(False information in spoiler(Thank you DonaldDuck5150 and Foxwell for pointing this out)No, giving Robux to players so they can purchase items is not allowed. According to Roblox’s guidelines, you cannot give or sell Robux to players.
Roblox has a policy with Robux giveaways that incentivize players to spend more Robux.

Like Foxwell and DonaldDuck5150 said, you are actually allowed to do this.

You’re donating, which is allowed. Read foxwell’s post for more info. (Sorry, I didn’t know that. You can uncheck this post’s solution)

You can not make clothes free, no matter what classic 2D shirts and pants have a minimum of 5 robux.

I wish though, making clothes for free would be nice.
Thank you

This behavior is (currently) allowed on Roblox and does not violate the Terms of Service or Roblox Community Standards (Previously known as Roblox Guidelines.)

AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT SAY THIS SPECIFICALLY: “Buy my shirt for 5, and I’ll give you [Amount higher than cost]”

Paying out to users as a way to cover the cost of a item (even if it’s owned by you) does not fall under ‘fraudulent or misleading’ activity, therefore you can freely payout robux, if you still feel unsure, feel free to visit

Side note
The person who told you otherwise is not correct, plus there is a logical fallacy within saying; “Roblox has a policy with Robux giveaways that incentivize players to spend more Robux.” And also, “you cannot give or sell Robux to players.”

That would contradict the existence of donations and payouts. For some reason they cut out the part where it says; “Using third-party services to buy, sell, trade, or give away Robux. This does not apply to Roblox gift cards.” – That is where the violation lies.

That’s completely false information. You can give anyone you want Robux from your group. Also, you cannot make and sell clothes for free. Shirts cost 10 Robux to upload and T-Shirts cost 10 Robux to sell.

You’re donating the Robux to people who want to buy your clothes. This is allowed.
