Are these features excessive in a Robox Game?

so i have huge ambitions for my upcoming project, but i came to a revelation that there are many demon slayer games or games relating to that manga/anime, so i wanted to do alot differently, like using beams for all attacks and having hair and clothing physics, voice acting face animation but ive been wondering if it would push people away

The blood in the second video may be a bit much, but the hair/clothing physics add a nice little detail. If there is no real performance impact, it is completely fine.

Honestly, I think that all the effects would attract people instead. The only recommendation I can give is that there are settings for disabling blood (for those who do not want blood) and possibly the voice lines if someone doesn’t want to hear them. Other than that, it honestly looks great and if finished and polished, it would probably be the top game of its kind.

I agree with the above. Beyond the blood, the actual effect would draw me to this game. Its like when you see screen shots of a game or an icon and then you get into the game and its all just blocks.

Yours would be like “ingame footage” and still look like a blender render. Bravo.

I actually have to agree with what everyone above me said. It makes the game more unique and just makes the game better. But yes you should decrease the blood amount and maybe also include a disable blood button like @Batimius said.

(holy that sword pull sound in the first video scared the hell out of me cause I had my volume too high lmao)
