Are we allowed to provide player support?

As a developer, I would like to offer player support to them, and I was wondering if its allowed, and am I allowed to put discord as a service, emails, and etc.

If you’re putting like a discord server invite or something, then it wouldn’t be allowed as it is against ToS to put third-party links inside the game and some people have asked that question before.

A alternative is to maybe suggest them to look at social links as most games use that when getting users into a server for members or for feedback, which some games do.

For emails and stuff, I am not quite sure about that, might look into that soon. :eyes:

yeah, a lot of big games have Discord as an attachment at the end of the description for support and to hangout with other players.

Emails, not really since you don’t see 13 year olds writing emails about support. Use a mainstream platform like discord

Is making a game like that ask for your info and sends a webhook to discord allowed?

yeah, I don’t see why not. Webhooks are allowed

So basically its a form you have to fill out in a game than it will send it to us on discord.

How would you do the player support?

what do you mean? Try making a google form to get support where they fill out what went wrong etc. with their username

No so basically they play a Roblox game, and you have to full out a ticket, it will than send it to us so we can help them.
-Try to make it accessible for everyone
-We can talk back and forth

Yea. Just as long as there aren’t any 3rd party links you should be fine. I would suggest using web hooks to get the support system and MessagingService or DataStoreService to contact the player. Or you can just add a discord support as a social link and use that!
