UPDATE INFORMATION
The Heist Update is a massive update on “Area 47: Roleplay” a game designed by CreepySins Studios. The update consists of major gameplay changes, like pushing our game to higher quality Roblox features like R15. Read below for more detailed information in regards to the update and changes made.

UPDATE DETAILS
New GOC Team!
Players can now play as the GOC Team for free! You’re just required to be a member of our roblox group. With a limit of 2 per server, they are very well equipped to protect the vault from the Chaos Insurgency!
New Heist!
The newest heist, nicknamed the “Vault Heist” has made its way into Area-47. Administrative Department members are responsible for putting files into the vault (they get paid per file!), the more files that are inside of the vault (max 100), the more the payout is for the raiders!
When raiding the vault, Chaos Insurgency have the option to go in and go guns blazing, or they can play it safe and destroy the exit door for the GoC, trapping them until the heist is completed! Be careful, this heist is a risky one, you have to protect yourself from SD, MTF, and GoC! You definitely want to bring some friends along!
After raiding the vault, Chaos Insurgency can go and sell their confidential files to their merchant for a handsome payout!
New OTS Guns, New Gun Models, Gun Customization, & Gun Skin Crates
Check out the new Over-The-Shoulder (TPS) guns! We’ve also added in new gun models! With these new models, we’ve also added in gun customization! Attach things like suppressors, extended mags, drum mags, lazers, and even scopes on your weapons (scopes do not work at this time).
Check out the new gun skins as well! You can purchase a Common, Rare, or Legendary gun skin crate for in-game cash, or for robux! The choice is yours!
New morphs / uniforms!
We’ve added in new morphs and new uniforms! There’s one morph per rank on all teams that need that extra level of protection!
New SCP(s)!
We’ve just introduced 3 new SCPs!
Search around the site for the new SCP-082, SCP-002, and SCP-914! They aren’t very friendly, but still make sure to go and say hello!
New User Interface!
We’ve overhauled our user interface, bringing a fresh experience for all of our players! You don’t have to worry about getting lost anymore with all of the buttons, we simplified the interface as much as possible!
Location help!
We’ve added in a highly requested feature: Location finders & New Minimap!
With these location finders, you’ll no longer get lost. You’ll have a “prompt” on your screen that’ll show you exactly where you need to run to! We’re eventually adding in a more advanced version of this that will walk you through how to host a basic test!
We’ve also taken the time to add a minimap into the game so you can see which turns you have ahead of you! We’re testing around to potentially add in “waypoint” systems so you can know exactly where to go step by step!
Mobile Support!
We’ve made our game support mobile almost 10 times better now! Experience the game in a whole new light with properly scaled interfaces, better buttons, and more!
New SCP Pathfinding System
We’ve overhauled out SCP Pathfinding System, which now will attempt to find the best path to the player, and will no longer run around when it can’t even see you! This will be added to all of our humanoid SCPs!
New map!
We’ve given the entire map a makeover! Check out some of the new sector designs like Sector 1, Sector 2, and Sector 3. Everywhere looks a little bit different though! We also increased performance by optimizing these building improvements! Happy exploring!
XP Conversion!
We’ve moved our game into XP! No longer will you have to grind the warehouse for hours on end in order to get ranks in your departments. You can now level up through completing quests, and playing on the team (we know if you’re afk!). You can also level up your “foundation level” through playtime only, you can level all the way up to a Level-5 Keycard all for free!
Other changes
-Major bug fix with some purchases not going through properly.
-Added in impeachment voting for the O5 Council, who can now remove the Administrator from office.
-Investigated performance issues and optimized them as much as possible.
-Updated NPC handler to make it more performant.
-Clipboards for ScD and MD
-Tasers added into the game for certain department / certain ranks.
-New authorization system for tests, and for high ranks that can authorize.
-Updates to the arrest tool.
-Better auto-mod system, hopefully stopping spawn-killing, etc.
-Overhauled anti-exploit system, better system for handling no-clippers, etc.
-Small build changes outside of S1.
-Roblox automatic translation should be live (hopefully?)
-Updated radio / radio system.
-Added in XP canisters to obtain XP faster. You can purchase w/ coins or robux.
-Added in premium rewards (xp boost, radio tag, future skin coming).
-Added in custom footstep sounds.
-Added in custom R15 animations.
-Added updated NVG, where the goggles tween down when activated. (for looks only).
-Updates to SCP-096 scrambler gear.
-Level-4, Level-5, Riot Shield gamepasses taken off-sale.
-Removal of DEA & EC teams (might return in the future).
-Added in tablet for AD+ (SiD, O5, TA).
-Revamped the guns to look more visually pleasing when firing.
-New items inside of Larry, Gary, and other ingame NPC shops.
-New locker system so you can store guns away that you don’t want, skin them, etc.
-Addition of a “recontainment tool bag” that will let you select tools needed for certain recontainments.
-New door model(s): push door, heavy door, blast door, sliding door
-Updated door-signs to be more performant.
-Changes to the warehouse heist. There is now crate rarity (Blue, Green, Tan)
-The Administrator can now hire/fire a secretary (they will be given a paycheck).
