ArePaidRandomItems Questions

I have questions for the ArePaidRandomItems policy

  1. do i need to restrict the player if the ingame cash they are about to purchase can be used to buy crates that contains random items?

  2. does gifting the ingame cash to another player via developer-product purchase also gets restricted by the policy?

  1. From what I can tell with the DevHub and looking at the announcement made for this policy, you can allow players to buy in-game cash but you need to restrict the player from buying crates that contain random items. So therefore you would need to restrict the crates themselves, not the purchase for in-game cash. Although if the only thing you can buy with in-game cash is crates, it is probably a better idea to restrict the purchase of in-game cash instead of the crates.

  2. I do not think that gifting in-game cash to another player via a developer-product purchase will be affected by the policy but the crates that contain random items will need to be.

Please take my response with a grain of salt as I am not an expert. Try looking around on the DevForum yourself and see if anything answers your questions.

if thats true, wont that restrict the players from that country to not be able to buy crates using the ingame money they grinded without using real money (robux) ?, that would be more unreasonable (if thats what roblox is trying to imply)
