Arm Gap Problem(FIXED)

Hello Everyone!
I was animating and I had a problem that I was wondering if it can be fixed 2020-06-10 (3)
(The gap in the arm)
I tried Gapfill but it changed the texture of the arm.

you’re rotating the elbow the wrong way, try rotating the entire arm from the shoulder and then rotating the elbow so that the curved bit on the back of the elbow on the upper & lower arm line up

a bit like this:

Thank you for the quick reply hertz
but can you show a video of some kind to explain on what your taking about?

you’re bending the character’s elbow in the wrong direction, you generally want to rotate the elbow so that the curved cylinder bits match up. this might help.

doing it this way will hide the gap in the elbow because the cylinder bits fill the space.

hertz I kinda have another problem.the leg is doing the same thing :sob:
and I tried the same thing, but no matter how I rotate it’s the same

there’s a very similar logic to how the knee works, it has that same quarter cylinder shape that helps to hide the bending. if you’re bending the character’s knee in the same way a person’s knee would bend then that should hide any major gaps.
