Hello everyone,
I’ve been having some trouble with an animation I have created for a shopkeeper NPC.
When testing the animation in the animator, it works fine, but when running it in the game, only the legs, torso and head animates, and not the arms (which are the focal point of the animation).
I have looked at other forum posts for advice, but there seems to be nothing regarding my specific issue, as the issues other people have had mostly concern tools or player animations rather than NPC animations.
If anybody knows what the cause of this may be, please do let me know.
Kind regards, ShockWaves921.
Thanks for the help, FroDev. To answer your questions:
The arms are not anchored, they move forward with the torso.
The published animation has the arms moving as intended.
I have just deleted the animate script inside of the rig. The only other script in the rig is the animation playing script which I use to, well, play the animation for the rig.
Hmm I see, whats the priority of the animation?
Did you upload the animation under a group and the file you are in isnt published to said group?
The priority of the animation is Idle, which is what I think it is meant to be. The animation is uploaded for myself, which is what the game is owned by.
The bizzare thing is that it is only the arms that do not animate. Not the head or the torso or the legs.
