Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

When you join our community, you will be expected to follow a list of rules. These rules must be obeyed at all times to prevent punishments. This is to safeguard the safety of our community, particularly its members. They will, however, be described briefly and point by point below.

  • Advertising : Advertising is not permitted. Using the chat, group wall or any other form of communication to advertise other groups will not be allowed.

  • Bypassing : Bypassing the chat filter/wearing bypassed clothing in any of our games is forbidden. This also means taking advantage of the new layered clothing; Doing so will get you server-banned, no reminders or warnings will be given.

  • Exploiting : Exploiting is a major offense that we do not take lightly. If you exploit on Arosto premises, you will be permanently banned with no option to appeal.

  • Trolling : Trolling is in no way allowed at Arosto. There will be only one reminder to stop trolling before you are banned.Trolling as a staff member is punishable by a reminder, followed by a demotion. Standard troller protocol will be enforced after you are demoted.

  • Respect : We kindly ask that you show respect to everyone regardless of their rank. We all deserve to be treated fairly. Failing to treat every member in Arosto with respect will lead to exile.

  • Drama : At Arosto, drama is not permitted. Please refrain from starting arguments or being disrespectful towards staff and customers. Keep your problems and differences outside of work.

  • Equality : All members associated with the Arosto community are treated equally. Any acts of homophobia, racism, sexism, or discrimination will be harshly dealt with, and will not be looked over.

  • Common Sense : Just because a rule isn’t listed here doesn’t mean you’re immune to that specific rule; the executives have the final say when it comes to disciplinary action. Breaking any of the existing policies or rules listed above will result in disciplinary action taken against your account.

How can I become a staff member here at Arosto?

If you’re interested in becoming staff all you need to do is complete the quick quiz at our quiz center! Once you pass, you’ll be able to attend a scheduled training session.

I am under 13 years old, can I still apply?

You may apply for a low rank if you’re under 13 as you do not need a Discord account to do so.

Unforunately, we cannot hire anyone as a part of our Management Team if they are under the age of 13. Discord states that anyone under 13 will not be able to utilize their platform, meaning we will have no communication with you.

How many warnings am I supposed to give to trollers?

We do not give ‘warnings’ here at Arosto. We only give reminders. You just let them know their actions will not be tolerated - if they continue, you need to contact a middle rank in order to ban them.

How long does it take for my partnership ticket to be reviewed?

Usually, partnership tickets take approximately 72 hours to be reviewed. Your final verdict will be sent to you via direct messages on Discord.

Promotion Tips

If you desire to apply for Staff Assistant, incorporate as much detail as possible and use proper grammar in your application. Long applications will be prioritized over shorter ones. Additionally, the more experience you have, the more likely you’ll be accepted.

However, if you desire to become a Staff Assistant by working, here are some tips:

  • Be active. When we say this, we don’t mean work 12 hours at the juice bar 1 day and don’t work for the next 3 days. We mean work 1-2 hours daily.

  • Don’t hint. Hinting is when you make comments about becoming a Staff Assistant/getting a promotion. An example of hinting: “I hope I get Staff Assistant soon!”

  • Be professional. Our Human Resources department is looking for professional and helpful Senior Baristas to join the MR Team.

  • Don’t act like a management member. This means pretending to check any logs you don’t have access to, standing around the Cafe and supervising when there are open registers, etc.

Upon achieving Staff Assistant, all promotions from that point onward are earned by going above and beyond in your duties. This means supervising, attending sessions, etc.
