ARPDAU is incredibly low despite attempts at improving

I have a game called VR Hand Simulator, it imitates VR without an actual VR Headset, through mobile and PC. (VR Hand Simulator (PC & MOBILE) - Roblox)

The issue is that monetization is REALLY terrible right now. ARPDAU(Average revenue per daily active user) is really really low and it is 0.02 Robux as of now.

I thought of solutions to improve this which was adding robux tools around the spawn, adding spin system as an alternative to get things for cheaper getting people to spend more, added coin buying and multipliers. But the ARPDAU didn’t even improve and it still is the same, 0.02.

I am really stuck on what to do, I appreciate any ideas regarding this.

I would focus on adding items that allows for players to mess with other people

To give an example you can add a pepper spray gamepass that temporarily blinds other players. Cosmetics don’t tend to perform particularly well and you need to add things that would give players power and satisfaction if they pay.

Ideally one of these “trolling” items would be really powerful, so you would sell it for a really high price. You need items on the more expensive end as currently your items are limited in range in terms of pricing (your most expensive item as far as I can tell is 350 robux, you want something at least at 1000 robux), most of your revenue would come from expensive things

You should also focus on adding developer products that can be bought again and again, things like Kill All and Nuke All as well as other trolls (making a player’s head really big for example)

One final suggestion is that you can probably make some of your things more expensive, your most expensive multiplier and coin pack is 150 robux (although I would probably recommend adding more expensive packs instead of changing prices)

There are more monetization techniques from this guide here

You should share your monetization statistics (best selling gamepasses and developer products) if you want better suggestions

Two things:

The game just doesn’t seem to convert all too well on mobile. I see the optimizations that have been done, but nowadays your most valuable user is the mobile player, and it seems quite difficult to play your game on that platform.

Another thing would be the UI: In-game robux shops should look attractive and polished to the eye. Gamepass icons are also quite important, as they can make or break your revenue from them.

As mentioned, there is stuff to be done, however, in your case, there is only so much you can do. Some game genres can reach a desired ARPDAU mark, others can’t.
