Art Design Software Assistance

Greetings,
If I could assistance and/or recommendations on what are the best free of charge art design software’s out there. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I would recommend Adobe XD for vector icons, paint.net for general icons as they’re both free and have virtually no learning curve.

I typically use https://pixlr.com/ for pretty much everything I create. It’s primarily a photoshop tool so it may not be great for creating some forms of digital art.

I would recommend using photopea but photopea is pretty similar to pixlr at least that’s what I think, but here is a link if you want to check it out.

It’s pretty much the same as pixlr

I don’t know exactly what type of drawing programs you are looking for to design your icons, but if you want a free alternative to something like Adobe Illustrator I would highly recommend the free vector graphics editor Inkscape.

I like to make my gamepass icons with it.

for a web browser, I would recommend piskle* for pixel animations and images

For me personally, a mixture of Autodesk sketchbook (android or ios) and gimp is a good combo. If your computer has touch input, you can get by with just gimp.
