I don’t know if this has been suggested before, but I think an art genre would be really nice to have.
There are a lot of showcase makers out there, including me, and it would be nice to have a category to fit into.
Also it would be nice to have your character wear 4 hats, just because.
A little off topic, but I had an idea a while back to make a series of places where it was just a still camera and some neat imaging and background ambience. I never got anywhere with it, but I think it would fit in this type of genre you’re asking for.

I’ve always just used the thank you button to thank people who post relevant or helpful stuff. I’ve never really followed any rules with it.
I’ve often thought that there should be something akin to a ‘Showcase’ category, where the point is just to show off what you’ve done rather than have a functional game. That would help me categorize my own games and it would help me find things that I’m interested in, such as castle showcases.
