Greetings, thank you for taking interest in joining the ASCPF ‘Development Crew!’ This agreement is to inform you of your terms, responsibilities, payment information, DMCA notices, etc. whilst working in the Development Crew in Artic’s Special Containment Procedures Foundation. Upon joining the Development Crew, you are to read this document and familiarize yourself with the terms. It is your responsibility to read this document and your fault if you do not.
At all times within this document, any references to “ASCPF”, “Artic’s Special Containment Procedures Foundation”, “SCPF”, “us”, “we”, or the like are referring to this group.
At all times within this document, any references to “Development Crew”, “DevCrew”, “DC”, or the like are referring to this group.
Artic’s Special Containment Procedures Foundation is based on “The SCP Foundation”, a.k.a the “SCP Wiki” due to the ROBLOX community guidelines, the SCP wiki cannot be linked.
All SCP Aspects of Dimensional Containment Site - 115 and ASCPF sites are under a Creative Commons CC BY SA 3.0 license. The physical game (models, scripts, animations, etc.) are property of Articstxrdam.
‣ Copyright and Licensing Information
Artic, or Articstxrdam (formerly referred to as “iiArticsterdam,” “Articsterdam,” “ArticThePerson,” and “ArticDemascus”) is “The Administrator” & Owner of Artic’s Special Containment Procedures Foundation, inquiries and concerns regarding statements below within the developer contract are to be directed to Artic
(The Administrator) on the developer forum, or ltsNeptune
(O5 Council Head) on Discord immediately.
Artic’s Special Containment Procedures Foundation is owned by “Articstxrdam” or “Artic”. For “legal” purposes, “Artic” or “Articstxrdam” has full administrative control and ownership over Artic’s Special Containment Procedures Foundation at all times unless written permission is given to a member of the foundation who will thereafter own/gain control of ASCPF for said written amount of time. If a set time is not specified, then it is permanent. If Articstxrdam is to resign, be terminated, etc. Ownership Rights and all foundation assets are to be transferred to Neptune, “O5 Council Head,” or the current Council Head unless otherwise stated.
Note: Developer forum messages sent to these addresses are rarely read, it would be much easier to contact Articstxrdam or ltsNeptune on Discord.
Notice: Neptune + Articstxrdam both change their user tags often. Please check the Discord Communications Server for the most up-to-date information regarding their contact info.
Some assets that have been used on ASCPF’s Dimensional Containment Site-115 are not the property of Articstxrdam or Artic’s Special Containment Procedures’ Foundation’s Development Crew. These assets mainly pertain to audio-only. Creators of assets that are not the intellectual property of ASCPF have the right to request the removal of their assets from the game and have been given credit in the “credits” section in-game.
However, the vast majority of assets within Dimensional Containment Site - 115 are IP (Intellectual-Property) of ASCPF and are therefore copyrighted by the Copyright Law of the United States. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO FILE A DMCA “TAKE-DOWN” IF WE FIND THAT YOU ARE USING ASSET(S) FROM ARTIC’S SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES FOUNDATION OR OUR GAMES. THERE MAY NOT BE WARNING.
‣ Project Manager Duties
Our duties as Project Managers are the following:
- To provide a comfortable & safe working environment.
- To ensure you are paid on-time with the correct amount.
- To ensure all guidelines are being met and projects are being done promptly.
- To prevent any internal conflicts between users.
Your duties as a developer are the following:
- To provide high-quality, functional products and/or assets.
- To be polite and kind within the community.
- To ensure your assigned project is done promptly.
If you’re having an internal conflict, contact a project manager.
‣ Agreement
SECTION 1 - ASSET SUBMISSION
When you complete an asset, it will go through an approval phase by the project manager. Upon the project manager accepting your asset, said asset is hereby are sold as the object/asset itself as well as the ownership rights to ASCPF (object is hereby surrendered to ASCPF). This means that developers may not redistribute assets following the sale of said assets. Credit will still be provided for the generation of said object.
If an asset is being paid for individually, following the full completion of the said asset(s), prices of the said asset(s) must be agreed upon by both parties in a permanently archivable manner such as a ROBLOX personal message.
If an asset is being paid for individually, following the full completion of the said asset(s), failure to meet the agreed-to deadline(s) will reduce the payment provided for an asset by 5% every day. Developers must agree to this at the time of the asset’s purchase.
Addendum: If an asset has been submitted via the Department of External Affairs’ Asset Exchange Program, ASCPF has the right to use said asset in accordance with guidelines set with the original builder/programmer/etc. See specific guidelines set in the alliance agreement found on the DEA database. This may include giving the original builder/programmer/etc the right to reuse the asset on other games. Assets that have been submitted via the aforementioned program at a minimum require a 1 to 2-month-notice before removal from any & all sites.
If a free model has been submitted, you will be removed from the development team. Free Models that were created after ASCPF submission are still the property of ASCPF.
Example: User submits a humvee model that was not a free model at the time of submission.
SECTION 2 - DEVELOPER GUIDELINES
- Don’t be an idiot, use common sense.
- Follow the ROBLOX Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
- You must deliver a high-quality product by your assigned deadline.
- Any references to NSFW, Racial Slurs, etc. within submitted assets is prohibited and will result in immediate demotion.
- You must be kind and respectful to fellow developers, leave all drama outside of assets & the comms server.
- Don’t leave the project mid-way through. You must work the entire time!^
- Follow the ASCPF Community Guidelines.
- You are not permitted to “spoil” features or designs of games and/or projects without prior approval from The Administrator.
^ = Exception: Family emergencies or injuries that will mark you as “out-of-office” for an extended period of time.
SECTION 3 - DEVELOPER "BILL OF RIGHTS"
- Developers under the age of 17 may request a return of their assets and the ownership rights of their assets at any time if a full refund, in USD, is provided with a 1-2 month notice.
- Developers are encouraged to report wrongdoing and guideline violations and will not be punished for doing so. (Providing the developer isn’t reporting themselves)
- Other than the Developer Agreement, agreed to terms cannot be changed “on-the-fly” unless both parties agree to do so in advance.
INFORMATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME. DEVELOPER AGREEMENT REQUIRES A NOTICE UPON BEING CHANGED AND CANNOT BE GIVEN A MAJOR “REVAMP” WITHOUT APPROVAL FROM THE PROJECT MANAGERS.
By joining the ASCPF Development Team you hereby agree to all informational items above.
You will hereby complete your assets in a timely and acceptable manner.
