Discord Moderation Guide
When it comes to moderation, there are a few simple points to understand, particularly if this is your first experience of becoming a moderator. Being a moderator makes you an extension of the server and an important part of the community.
This guide is intended to be a general rundown of the guidelines, a list of what resources are accessible to moderators to keep the chat moderate. Keep in mind that this guide only contains the basic commands on our server. If you would like to browse for a more informative guide for more commands, please feel free to review the command list provided by the bot if you’d like to.

Verbal Warning
In circumstances where a Staff Member has concerns about a member’s performance, it may be appropriate for that individual to be issued with some form of a verbal warning.
In essence, a verbal warning is when a staff member verbally tells another member that they will face more sanctions if their conduct or activities inside the server do not alter or strengthen.
Giving Out Warnings
!warn {user} {reason}
!removewarn {case ID} (Removes a specific warning from a user)
!clearwarn (Removes all warnings from a user)
If a Staff Member believes that an incident warrants a warning, their first step is to consider the legal implications involved and ensure that the person is going to be treated fairly.
Warnings vary from verbal warnings as they offer further input into the rules, where an verbal warning tells the member that if they proceed, harsher effects will take place.
Warning Logs
!warns {user}
This command helps moderators to see the warnings of each member, verifying whether this member has committed something that violates our rules would be beneficial.
Muting - Moderator+
!mute {user} {duration} {reason}
!unmute {user}
This command disables a member’s chatting privileges for a period of time. Example, if a member continues to debate with a Staff Member after a warning, they should spend some time somewhere else for a while to have a moment to think of what happened.
Moderation Logs - Moderator+
!modlogs
The moderation log primarily serves to deliver information for every moderation action that has been performed on a specific member that you have requested to check.
Purge - Senior Moderator+
!purge
You might want to get not appropriate material out of the server in some situations. Typically this is because people accidentally slipped their tongue and unintentionally said something rather foolish and don’t know better.
Banning - Administration Team+
!ban {user} {reason}
Generally, accounts that exist solely for the express intent of violating rules or long-term repeat offenders are the form of punishment to be done only for atrocious crimes. Such accounts can be terminated without any notice from the server.
Lockdown - Public Relations Officer+
!lockdown
!unlockdown
Channel lockdowns disables everyone’s chatting privileges for a period of time as an override in the specified channel. Any roles explicitly granting send messages will override this for anyone with that role. This command should be used during raids, as an example but not limited to.
