Asking a Few Questions

I’ve been working on my game for a while now, and I’m polishing it off with many bug fixes and overall improvements.
I have a few questions. Feel free to answer as many or few as you’d like.
I want to expand my playerbase, mainly through ads…

  • How should I distribute about 3000 robux? I’m on a very small budget, but I’m not looking to expand a lot.
  • What are other ways that I can expand my game’s player count?
  • What kinds of ads do you recommend?
    Thanks!

  1. How many people are working on your game and what are their different jobs?

  2. Social media and showing the games off on the DevForums is free and can rake in a few players.

  3. There are only 2 types of ads, advertisements and sponsors. Are you asking with one you should do, or am I missing something?

For #1, I mean about how many days should I send ads for? 7 days, 400 robux each, 14 days, 200 robux each, etc. Also, I have one builder/modeler who works for free currently.

For #3, I meant styles of ads. Although this brings up another thing - are sponsors more or less efficient than ads?

Probably 3 days, 1000 R$ each but that’s just my opinion. If I can only choose one of those three, it’d be 7 days 400 each.

Sponsors are really up in the air right now, and I’m not so sure about ads. Do a little research on average ad CTR vs. average sponsor CTR.

And as for what style of ad, don’t do a clickbait ad like “Please play my game, I spent all my Robux on this ad, :sob:”. A simple GFX ad or maybe some kind of comic would work. Just make sure it’s accurate to what your game is.

Thank you
I of course won’t do clickbait, that’s petty and strongly looked down upon, no matter how much it may get.
I’ll look into Sponsor CTR and Ad CTR, maybe run a few test ads/sponsors at the same price.
