Currently working on a low poly city map, keeping the designs simple as the map will be fairly large.
Just asking to see if anyone has any ideas/advice or criticism so far to help out as I only started taking building seriously a couple of months ago.
I haven’t completed a lot however as mentioned before, any advice or criticism will be cherished

Thanks, they eventually will, not at the moment. I’m going to make different sections of the town, this is the more run down area. Then there will be a more high end area with a bank and what not
The lights of the rooms in the buildings look a bit too bright, you might want to decrease the brightness on that. Other than that, it looks good!
Edit: the Background around the city is empty, is that left on purpose? If not, try adding something natural around the city, like trees, mountains, etc.
The whole map isn’t finished at all, its like 5% done, i just wanted some basic advice on how i was doing so far so that little issues didn’t lead to bigger ones down the road. I fixed the lighting issue though thanks!

Just one more thing that I don’t know if you have in mind or not, I’d recommend adding some greenery to any spots that feel blank like on that grass next to the building in the last picture.
