As a Roblox developer, I often need to make use of an asset’s metadata for various reasons : I might be figuring out which version of an asset we should be using, I might be trying to figure out who uploaded a specific asset, etc. While the ability to query this metadata is surfaced by right clicking on an asset and clicking “Asset Preview” in the asset manager, this is inconvenient - especially when dealing with assets at-scale. It’s often convenient to have this information surfaced on the main panel. The windows file explorer does this, and so should the Asset Manager! Adding this metadata also gives us the additional ability to sort by metadata! If we want to sort & filter by date created in descending order, we would be able to do this! If we want to sort by asset author, we could also do this!
