Astral Industries Energy Research Hub | Release 1 Changelog

This is the changelog for Release 1 of Astral Industries Energy Research Hub. The update released April 24th, 2021 and is the official release of the game, bringing it out of Beta!

Release 1 was meant to be a bugfix and community feature update, making ERH the best it could be before release. No matter what lies ahead of us, ERH has been a blast to develop, and the dev team can’t thank you all enough for being there for the ride!

Thank you to everyone who has supported Astral Industries throughout ERH’s development, we can’t wait to bring you more amazing content!

Additions

  • The Entrance Zone Blast Seal now protects you from the Superstructure Failure if the door is in the bottom position (In transit or not!)
  • Added a retractable walkway across the Entrance Zone Blast Seal when it is opened
  • Added camera shake during Superstructure Failure
  • Added 4 new food items! (Can be found in Cafe, Control Room, and the Auditorium Concession area!)
  • Remodeled the Batte Auditorium Lobby
  • Added new Servers to Sector D (Removed over 12,000 parts!)
  • The TIPR now glows after the Termination Cycle expires
  • Added an ingame changelog board
  • Random blackouts can now occur after the TIPR is started up. These can be fixed by going to Sector B and pressing the Generator Reset Button!
  • Added 2 new NPCs: Jonas Dylath (Mechanic, Sector B) and Christina Rose (Software Engineer, Sector D)
  • Added 2 new Astral+ Teleport Locations: Offices & Warehouse
  • The TIPR now emits a noise when active
  • Added a skip button to the TIPR Startup Cutscene
  • Added animations to the Drink items (Astral Soda, Lemonade)
  • Added an “Early Access Tester” tag to those who are on the Early Access Testing Team!

  • Tweaked the Control Room Displays
  • Moderators now have Admin Panel access
  • Optimized the Entrance Zone Blast Seal
  • Vending Machines now check to see if you have the item already before dispensing
  • Vending Machines now dispense directly into the player’s backpack
  • The TIPR now fully retracts after a successful Termination Cycle
  • The Control Room door now locks down during Superstructure Failure Phase 3
  • Rescripted the Integrity/Temperature bars on the right Control Room display
  • Rescripted the Music system
  • Changed the material of the TIPR Chamber to Metal
  • The radio in the Blast Shelter now softly plays music
  • The clocks scattered around the map now actually tell the date (Should be timezone synced, update every 10 minutes)

  • Fixed a bug where more than 1 player can “merge” into a seat in the Control Room
  • Fixed LDM Server hitboxes
  • Announcements no longer appear on the Main Menu
  • Fixed several bugs regarding the Control Room Displays
  • Fixed a bug where disabling music with the ingame settings did NOT disable the Superstructure Failure OST
  • Fixed a bug where players could steal Willow Sylvaine’s hair
  • Fixed several hallways not being symmetrical
  • Fixed a bug where players could click on the shutdown button after the shutdown expired
  • Fixed a bug where players could buy ingame server products more than once
  • Fixed a bug where certain tools could be dropped to lag servers

  • The elevator to the Research Labs is still bugged. If the elevator breaks on you, take the stairs or reset!
