Atlantic Hurricane Simulator - December 2019 Updates
It’s the first day of Winter! To celebrate the holidays, we asked members of our group to make a wish-list of features to put in the new updates, and we delivered! Here’s what’s inside:
- A new paths system! The hurricane tracks are now more unique and realistic than ever!
- An advanced custom storm creator! With the original basic storm creator, players can select where their hurricanes should form and where they should travel to, while the game automatically handles the rest. Now, expert players can precisely control where the storms go!
- Speed up or slow down the entire simulation using the new time controls!
- Two new map themes in the Controls → Style menu! The new “Snow and Ice” theme enables the polar ice caps & covers the northern hemisphere in snow, and the new “Countries” theme shows countries, states, and cities on a sepia map!
- Two new badges! Earn a brand new badge by breaking the real-world record for the longest-lived hurricane, and earn a limited-edition holiday badge just by playing the game at any time from December 21st to January 5th!
In this update, all of the features were suggested by awesome members of our group, Wizard Studios! If you have any ideas, or if you just want to show your support, please join our community!
As always, thank you to everyone that supported the game by sending in-game comments and donations!
