Atlantis Nightclub Player Rules

  • Players & Staff Members are required to maintain these rules at all times.

  • If you are confused by any of these rules, don’t hesitate to ask an Atlantis Staff Member for assistance.

General Rules:

Rule 1: Trolling

Players are required to maintain an ethical level of behavior while on Atlantis Nightclub. This rule has been erected to ensure the continued enjoyment of Guests and Staff Members while on Atlantis Nightclub.

Examples of Trolling
Gratuitous comments to Guests or Staff Members. These include Rude, Impolite, or discourteous statements directed towards another player. Intentionally making a player angry. IE: Jumping on a players head, pushing a player around, Etc. Wearing clothing that could offend or anger another player. (Explained in Rule 4)

Failing to follow this rule will warrant a Staff Member response. A player will have 3 warnings. If the player fails to comply, the player will be kicked. If the player rejoins and continues any unwarent behavior as outlined by this rule, the player will be banned. This rule is subject to change.

Rule 2: Spamming

Players are required to maintain a reasonable level of chat behavior. This rule has been erected to ensure staff monitoring of the chat and guest annoyance with rapid chat notifications.

Examples of Spamming
Using the chat to send a large amount of unnecessary sentences or sentence fragments. IE: Sending numerous messages over the Roblox Chat in a short amount of time.
Spamming troll music. (Troll music explained in Rule 5)
Using the chat to send a large amount of CAPS LOCKED words/sentences.

Failing to follow this rule will result in an Automatic Kick. If the Player rejoins and continues any unwarent behavior as outlined by this rule, the player will be banned. This rule is NOT subject to change.

Rule 3: Advertising

Players are not allowed to advertise a specific group or entity that competes with Atlantis Nightclub or interferes with Atlantis operations. This rule has been erected to stop unwanted behavior that may cause distress to Staff Members or Atlantis Nightclub’s atmosphere.

Examples of Advertising
Persuading a Guests to join another Nightclub or Nightclub Group.
Advertising clothing that a player may be selling. IE: “BUY MY T-SHIRT”
Advertising a player group. IE: “JOIN MY GROUP!!”

Failing to follow this rule will warrant a Staff Member response. A player will have 3 warnings. If the player fails to comply, the player will be kicked. If the player rejoins and continues any unwarent behavior as outlined by this rule, the player will be banned. This rule is subject to change.

Rule 4: Clothing

Players are allowed to wear a wide range of clothing on Atlantis Nightclub. Inappropriate clothing outlined by this rule has been identified as either Trolling or Inappropriate for younger players.

Examples of Inappropriate Clothing
Wearing no clothing.
Wearing clothing that has an offensive slur or inappropriate words.

Clothing rules are subject to change at any moment. Ask a Staff Member if you are unsure.

Failing to follow this rule will warrant a Staff Member response. A player will have ONE warning. If the player refuses, walks away / ignores the staff member, the player will be kicked. If the player rejoins and continues any unwarent behavior as outlined by this rule, the player will be banned.

Rule 5: Troll Music

Players are allowed to request music while playing Atlantis Nightclub. Requesting troll music as outlined by this rule is not tolerated on Atlantis.

Examples of Troll Music
Songs that are Loud and Obnoxious, clearly made for the purpose of annoying players.
Songs that use inappropriate language.
Songs that promote rude behavior through provocative slurs or offensive statements.

Troll Music is subject to change at any moment. Ask a Staff Member if you are unsure.

Failing to follow this rule will warrant a Staff Member response. A player will have ONE warning. If the player refuses, walks away / ignores the staff member, the player will be kicked. If the player rejoins and continues any unwarent behavior as outlined by this rule, the player will be banned.

ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL. IF YOUR SONG IS SKIPPED, YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE.

Rule 6: Online Dating

Online dating, for Staff Members or Players, is not allowed under the Roblox Terms of Use. Anyone caught Online Dating under the Roblox Terms of Use guidelines will be warned ONCE, then banned. Please reference the Roblox Terms of Use if you need further information.

Rule 7: Personal Information

Asking any player for personal information is not allowed. Specifically: Age, Location, Name (unless given permission by the player), relationship status, school name, workplace location, Roblox password, etc. If you are caught asking for personal information, you will automatically be kicked.

Rule 8: Explicit language

Any attempt to bypass the Roblox language filter or the use of racist language/slurs will result in an automatic kick.

Rule 9: Exploiting

Exploiting is not allowed on any Atlantis Nightclub games. Encouraging Exploitation will result in an automatic kick from the game. Exploiting in the game will result in an Automatic Ban / Staff Member Firing.

Discord Specific Rules:

Rule 1: Bypassing Filter

Bypassing AtlantisBOT’s filter is not allowed. This rule is very simple.

Bypassing the filer result in a warning. If you get 3 warnings, you will be suspended for 1 week.

Rule 2: NSFW Content

NSFW (“not safe for work”) is not allowed on our server, and will strictly remove any content that’s not safe for all users, at any time.

Posting content not safe for everyone will result in a verbal warning. After that, if you are a staff member, you will be suspended for 1 week and if you are a guest/club member, you will be banned after another warning. (Max 2 warnings)

Rule 3: Video Call Screenshots

Screenshotting people with their camera on is strictly not allowed unless specifically been given permission to do so.

What counts as “permission”?

  • A direct message to the user saying they have permission. No other sorts of permission will be allowed, such as saying ‘you have permission’ over a call.

Screenshotting without permission will get you suspended for 2 weeks if you are a staff member and kicked out of the Discord server if you are a guest/club member. We take privacy very seriously.

Rule 4: Privacy

Posting pictures of other people in the server is strictly not allowed unless specifically been given permission to do so.

What counts as “permission”?

  • A direct message to the user saying they have permission. No other sorts of permission will be allowed, such as saying ‘you have permission’ over a call.

Posting pictures of other people without permission will get you suspended for 2 weeks if you are a staff member and kicked out of the Discord server if you are a guest/club member. We take privacy very seriously.

Rule 5: Discord Chats

Every channel in the Discord server has a specific use as specified by that channel’s name and topic. Anything not relating to the topic of the channel should not be posted in that specific channel and should be posted elsewhere, in the channel it belongs to. If there is no such channel in the server, then the content should not be posted at all. This includes spamming messages and emojis in any* channel.

How do I know if what I’m posting isn’t allowed in this channel?
All channels are named according to what should go in them. For example;

  • general - for general chatting and talk

  • off-topic - for anything that’s off topic such as quotes, random paragraphs, anything that’s not part of or starting a conversation.

  • staff-chat - for anything relating to staff such as interview notices and talking about rules or conducts.

Knowing what to send and what not to send should come down to common sense - if it doesn’t relate to the name or topic of the channel it doesn’t belong there.

Failure to follow this rule will result in the content being removed and a verbal warning. Another warning will be issued following a second offence. After this, if you are a staff member, you will be suspended for 2 days and if you are a club member you will be kicked from the Discord server. (Max 2 warnings)
