This BUG causes Atmospheres to inconsistently Render dependent on certain circumstances.
One day I’m working on a game with an Atmosphere that looked the way I wanted it to (RIGHT Image) and the next day I open the same place file to see that it has changed to something else (LEFT Image)
This image is showing two Studio sessions (Left = ReproFile, Right = Empty Baseplate with same Lighting) and how the results differ
This issue doesn’t occur just as the place opens as it takes a small delay for the change to take effect:
I did some testing as this is what I’ve found to reproduce it (repro-file provided so you can do the same):
Open the repro file and it should look like the Image on the RIGHT, if it doesn’t try creating a new Baseplate and pasting the atmosphere and skybox in there along with the lighting settings (it may not be necessary) - if it still doesn’t look like that then the bug may be specific to me
Save the file and then close out of the tab (BUT NOT STUDIO) and then reopen it - it should still look the same
Close out of Studio and reopen the same place file, it should look different
This effect isn’t respective to just Studio as it occurs from within the actual Game itself
Both are maxed-out and have been, as I mentioned in the post this effect was not applied when I originally inserted it into the place and did not change until I closed studio and the next day reopened it to find that this occurred (if you can it would be nice if you could follow the Repro steps to ensure that this bug isn’t respective to me only: client/studio engine)
These are the same properties as it was before, im starting to feel like that you haven’t read through the post at all.
First watch the video and you’ll see what’s happening, second i haven’t changed the properties and if i did i wouldn’t have made the bug report in the first place. As i said if you open the repro file and it looks like the bottom image rather than the top then create a baseplate and copy the same settings over and it will look like the top.
