Atmosphere Night Sky issue

This is probably just how it’s coded but I wonder if there’s a possibility for a solution.

To put it short I’ve noticed that when there’s an Atmosphere Instance present a good portion of the night sky is hidden.
How it looks without atmosphere

and here’s it with

I looked around and changed most of its properties, but it seems it’s just how the atmosphere instance is coded to override the skybox. kinda just bugs me that a good amount of the stars get essentially erased. However, I haven’t checked thoroughly. hopefully, there’s a solution or maybe a change eventually.

im not sure if you want to completely hide the stars of the default sky, if its that, then you just have to go to your sky object on lightning, select it, and in properties go to ‘‘StarCount’’, as default is set in 3000, but if you dont want stars at all, just set it in 0. also, if you want to use the atmosphere, its ok, but the normal way to hide the stars is the previous way that i said before. well, it’s not entirely understandable what you want to achieve, but this is what i guess you’re looking for, hope it will help you :slightly_smiling_face:.

Mb but I don’t get what ur asking, are u tryna get rid of all the stars using the atmosphere or rid of none, or just completing something else and I interpreted it wrong.
To keep the stars there just lower the density of the atmosphere and choose like dark blue for the color.

Hi thanks for responding. quite the opposite actually, needed more stars.

I resolved the issue and I was entirely wrong (whoops). For some reason, the textures I had for the skybox somehow interfered with the visibility of the stars and I simply replaced the whole skybox with a default one.

found out after finding these messages and trying to replicate the issue on a different file. regardless thank you both for your input
