I’m cooking a game where the idea is that every day and night smoothly flow in time and atmosphere. Everything would be fine if it weren’t for the current implementation of the atmosphere in the engine. I’m sad.
In two videos you can see the difference between the atmosphere and the Fog settings of the Lighting service, specifically the interpolation and how it looks. My game requires a quick (10-20 seconds) switch between day and night, but in the case of the atmosphere it comes out very glitchy and uneven.
I tried using the Fog settings as a solution, but they look damn dry and not tasty. I’m at a dead end. The main thing I would like to hear is advice on how to fix this, and are there other solutions, without the atmosphere, and they will be just as tasty?
Thanks guys for your help in advance
