Hey everyone!
Are you a fan of Attack on Titan and love creating experiences on Roblox? Well, we’ve got some exciting news!
Kodansha Game Creators Lab (GCL) and GeekOut Inc. are partnering to bring you the Roblox Original Experience Production Contest (ROECC), based on the GeekOut Creator Incubation Program.
You could have the chance to create an original Attack on Titan experience and win up to $1.5 million USD in development funds from GeekOut, with support from Kodansha GCL throughout production and post-release operation!
To participate, all you need to do is join the dedicated Guilded server and submit your proposal for a Roblox experience inspired by the Attack on Titan comics published by Kodansha.
This contest runs from April 5, 2024, 00:00 (JST) to May 10, 2024, 23:59 (JST).
Eligibility

Mandatory: You must join the dedicated Guilded server.

The Guilded server will have all the details and a place for you to ask questions.

In line with Guilded’s terms of service, participants need to be 13 years old or older.

If under the age to engage in a legally binding contract in your local jurisdiction, you must get consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Consent form to be provided during the application process.

Open to all regions for both individuals and studios.

The copyright of the submitted proposal and the resulting work belongs jointly to the applicant and the original author, and neither can be published without the other’s permission. If your proposal is selected, you will enter into an agreement with GeekOut, which has obtained permission from Kodansha to host this competition, regarding the outcomes of the project (hereinafter referred to as “the Contract”).

No rights or obligations arise between the entrant and Kodansha or GeekOut in relation to this competition until the Contract is formally signed. The legal relationship between the entrants and Kodansha after the Contract has been signed will be governed by the terms of the Contract.

Due to the nature of the Contract, the production process may involve confirmations and requests for revisions from the original author and the editorial staff of Weekly Shonen Magazine. Entrants are responsible for making any necessary revisions.

The contents of the Contract will be thoroughly explained before the interview and signing, and it will be executed only upon your agreement. Applying does not imply agreement.
