I’m trying to build the TKTS stairs from Times Square but it has been nothing but a struggle for the last hour and I haven’t been able to make any solid progress. Whenever I look at images of it, it looks like it’s been built so seamlessly and with ease but trying to replicate that in studio has been a mess. I’ve tried using the gapfil plugin, playing around with the increments, and messing around with the rotation but nothing seems to work. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

Making the stairs isn’t the hard part, it’s the border around it. It looks like the stairs just kind of blend in together as they get wider and obviously, when that’s being done in studio it looks awful. How can I do this in studio? Are there any other methods or techniques I should try? I’ve also tried to build the frame first and it’s still incredibly difficult to get the stairs to just fit in there.
