:palm_tree:Auahi — Introductory to the MR Team

Greetings, and congratulations on making it all the way to our MR ranks here at Auahi. On behalf of the Corporate Team, we wish you the best on achieving future ranks; don’t doubt yourself because you can go very far! This forum was constructed in effort to provide Staff Assistant + additional documentation regarding their position within the group and in order to better their apprehension. If the particular details you are locating are not distinguishable inside of this forum, you are welcome to contact @neptunesstic concerning your query.

MR Expectations & Activity Suggestions

As a middle rank (MR) here at Auahi, we have a set amount of essential specifications for our staff members to conserve their position at Auahi facilities. It is important to acknowledge that no staff member has a set activity quota or in-game session requirement.

Albeit, we do have weekly suggested activity (WSA) requisites that staff are mandated to complete. WSA reqs consists of at minimum, 25-35 minutes in-game at the café per day; attending one to two (or more) trainings every two days.

MRs and HRs are expected to remain consistently active. We do have systems in place to measure middle & high rank activity; we will conduct regular activity checks (every few days) to guarantee that staff are keeping active within their ranks.

If staff are portrayed to not preserve their weekly suggested activity; they will be subjected to DM warnings from corporate members proposing that sufficient activity levels have not been prevailed. If continued, the user would be issued a second warning; this would be your last reminder to get active.

By second activity reminder, you will be demoted to Senior Barista due being provided time to improve your activity level/ perpetuating your MR duties in the group. This demotion would not be appealable under any circumstances.

If the reason why you aren’t active is due to not having access to your device/ unable to maintain WSA for any reasoning; you are welcome to create an inactivity notice. Leave of absence details can be found below within this guide.

Session Guidance

From the rank of Supervisor, admins will then be applicable to host a wide variety of Auahi sessions in order to employ or enhance the skills of our current staff members. Listed below, I have elaborated on the importance of shifts and trainings and the essential information you will need in order to host. Our training guide can be located in our communications server in staff announcements.

Trainings

Training sessions are applicable for the ranks of Trainee to Barista. The staff member would be trained with the compulsory information such as dealing with in-game procedures, dealing with disruptive customers, recipes and staff information. Upon passing the training, a promotion would be acquired to the next rank. If the user fails, they can attend as many trainings as possible to correct their mistakes. Baristas can attend to rank up to the position of Senior Barista; although they cannot rank up to Head Barista through sessions.

Shifts

Shifts are sessions that take place at the café and are hosted by General Manager +. Alternatively, LRs (Junior Barista through to Barista) cannot receive a promotion through in-game shifts. Ideally, the hardest-working staff member will be chosen through staff activity and will be rewarded points based on their obedience and dedication throughout the session. Shifts will transpire for 25 minutes per session with a cooldown in-between.

In addition, there is no official shift guideline; shifts will be announced in the communications server in our designated #shifts channel. You may refer to the ‘hosting shifts’ portion of this guide for further assistance.

Café Procedures

At the Café, it’s likely that you will come across trollers and users attempting to ruin the experiences for others. In order to manage these situations sustainability and effectively, we advise you to take note of the course-of-action described below.

Troller Procedure

⦁ step 1: provide a verbal warning

This type of warning will consist of “please order properly”, or “please stop trolling”. Whilst supplying a verbal warning, ensure to remain respectful and level-headed to avoid larger issues. In addition, we do not allow warnings such as “warning one”, trollers should not receive any ‘formatted’ warnings.

⦁ step 2: distribute a command warning

Our command warnings consist of: ?warn username reason. This warning is predominant when it comes down to the troller procedure, as it displays to MRs that the user has been reminded of their actions in advance. In addition, only Senior Barista and above can warn customers with the ?warn command.

⦁ step 3: server ban

If the troller persists, you will then have the authorization to issue a server ban. You will not need to log the server bans, that will only be reserved for pbans (that will be explained in the communications server). Ensure you type 4 or more letters of the trollers username before submitting the action.

Exploiter Procedure

Exploiters do not receive any type of warning before they are issued a permanent ban across all of our servers. Exploits consist of flying, flinging, sound exploits, animations, anything that would be considered unusual.

Glitching would not be worthy of a pban unless it’s clear their intention was to access rank-locked areas.

⦁ step 1: note their full username & screenshot evidence

If you do not have any screenshot evidence of the user committing to their actions, the ban will not be considered valid. Ensure the screenshot includes (at least) part of their username so we are able to certify the ban has been supplied to the right person.

⦁ step 2: issue a temporary sban (server ban)

Due to the fact that the majority of the MR team will not acquire pban permissions, you will need to submit a pban request in our communications banning request channel. The Administration Department will evaluate your evidence on the behalf of the department and determine whether the evidence is appropriate enough for a moderation punishment.

⦁ step 3: submit the ban request

Upon submitting the ban request, the exploiter will soon be permanently banned from all Auahi facilities. If the user joins back on an alt (alternative account), you should not re-ban unless they commit to the actions they were continuing that resulted in their ban.

Hosting Shifts

At the café, the ranks of General Manager and above are entitled to host in-game shifts. Shifts are operational sessions that take place at the main facility, and allows staff members to obtain points in order to attain promotions swiftly through the automatic points system.

General Manager + will need to assess the users operating different jobs in-game in order to assign points at the end of a session. An in-game shift can be initiated through a communications server announcement and in-game, and will be logged through a Trello system.

In-game shifts will last for a duration of 25 to 30 minutes per session with a limited cooldown. Shifts will not be a requirement (due to there being no set quota); however it is proposed as a part of your WSA (weekly suggested activity).

General Manager and above will not be able to host sessions back-to-back and points will be manually logged to a specific rank-locked channel. Staff members will not be able to attain points consistently all day, there will be a slight ‘cooldown’ in between to ensure staff cannot receive any more than two sets of points in any one day.

The maximum number of points for a staff member (achieved during a session) will incorporate 10 points (excluding the amount of additional points they obtain through in-game occupations).

Administrative Commands Explanation

As a staff member (Junior Barista+), you are provided with limited resources to assist with in-game matters. This is due to the fact that Junior Barista to Head Barista do not have any in-game administrative commands.

As you’ve progressed through to Staff Assistant and above, you would have received a vast amount of commands. This section of the guide will provide assistance concerning which commands are authorized for usage; delineating on administrative commands that would not be considered appropriate for utilization.

To ensure admin commands are used on the correct user, and to establish that commands are not submitted on someone with a similar username in the server; we recommend writing at minimum, 4 letters of a ROBLOX username before submitting a command. Without doing so, it’s a possibility that you may accidentally capitulate a serious moderation action (eg. sban) on an innocent player.

In-game Serviable Commands (MR+)

⦁ “view (username)” — this command uses no prefix, and allows you to view the selected user. Please use four or more letters of the username when viewing.

⦁ “pm (username) (text)” — this command allows you to send a private message to the selected user. No-one will be able to see your message once you’ve replied at least once. Please use this command appropriately and within correct reasoning.

⦁ “to (username)” — this command lets you teleport to a user. If you’re teleporting to a higher rank, PM them for permission to do so. Also, you must view a user before teleporting to them. In addition, you won’t need to PM the user to teleport to them.

⦁ “bring (username)” — this brings the selected user to you, but you need permissions to bring higher ranks. Use this command within reason. View people before bringing them. Overuse or abuse of this permission will result in actions taken.

⦁ “h (message)” — this command allows you to send a message to appear for everybody. This should not be used unless you’re announcing shift messages.

⦁ “logs” — this command shows you all the admin logs.

⦁ “chatlogs” — this command shows you all recent the chat messages sent. Messages will disappear after a while.

⦁ “clr” — this command removes ‘h’, ‘m’, and ‘sm’ messages. If someone accidentally uses a sm message (for example), you can run the ‘clr’ command and it’ll disappear immediately.

⦁ “ref (username)” — this command allows you to refresh the selected user. This makes their uniform go away and have their normal avatar appear. If you change your avatar, you can use this command instead of resetting. Only use within reasoning.

⦁ “cmds” — this command allows you to view all the possible commands you could use.

⦁ “ingameadmins” — this command shows you all the admins in game.

Forbidden Commands

At Auahi, we have a set list of forbidden commands that cannot be utilized, assessed or trialed under any circumstances. These commands are primarily reserved for corporate members (Vice President and above); although not subjected to.

⦁ “god (username)” — this command is banned, and can result in moderative consequences.

⦁ “speed (username)” — this command is banned, and can also result in moderative consequences.

⦁ “startergear (username) (item name)” — this command is banned, and can result in moderative consequences.

⦁ “slock” or “unslock” — these commands allow you to unlock/lock the server and should not be used by moderators.

⦁ “fly (username)” — this command is banned for all staff members, the only exception is Vice President and above.

⦁ “crash (username)” — causes disruption to the selected users’ game-play, usually resulting in their game to crash. This command is banned.

⦁ “mod/ admin (username)” — provides commands to a selected user. This command is not to be used as correct rank-brackets will receive admin when they obtain a certain rank.

⦁ “gear (username) — supplies selected user with an item from the ROBLOX catalog.

If you have any questions in regards to correct command usage; you are encouraged to ask a corporate member for assistance. Accidental admin abuse (AA) will not result in any type of moderation action (depending on how obvious the AA was); although openly-admitting to admin abusing will result in an immediate demotion or termination from your position.
»» ——————————————— ««

Distributing Infractions

Infractions (another word for moderation punishments) can be distributed to anyone who breaks our regulations at our facilities.

General Manager and above have the capacity to supply demotions to community members that do not supply the correct working attitudes at Auahi. Our Administration Department has the ability to promote ranks of Head Barista up to MR; although promotions (despite trainings) are not to be provided to any other rank-bracket since we run on an automatic system.

I will list below some demotionable reasons to assist you when it comes down to determining which actions would be appropriate enough to eventuate on a user. For context, some reasons would be: trolling, tool abuse, cheating points, major disrespect/ racist comments (and pban), severe bypassing and dismaying ROBLOX ToS.

Glitching would not constitute a demotion (unless their intention is clear that they are trying to break into restricted areas). Hinting is not worthy-enough of a demotion; it is a friendly reminder to stop.

If you aren’t too sure whether to take a punishment, it’s better to ask for help! If you direct your concern towards a member of the Administration Department, explaining the situation and supplying all the correct information will help us come to an agreement to guide to you the correct moderation action to supply.

Inactivity Procedures

As we do not maintain a set quota or requirements, inactivity notices (IN)/ leave of absences (LOA) are quite straight-forward. If you need to go inactive for a period of time/ unable to assess your device to perpetuate your suggested activity requirements, you will need to inform a member of the Administration Department to track your notice to the database.

We do not have any inactivity notice cooldown/ restrictions on ‘set time’ you can take off away from ROBLOX, albeit notices should be a last-resort circumstance. Despite having no limitations on inactivity regulations; we should not see you active on ROBLOX or consistently staying active in our communications server.

By communicating with others in our server whilst on inactivity notice displays to us that you are making ill-use of the immunity and we will be more reluctant to allow you to make notices in the future. Persistent use/ ask of making an inactivity notice will likely transpire in a demotion depending on the severity.

Inactivity notices are created when you cannot be online at all during the time you’re taking a break. In addition, we usually suggest making a notice at maximum for two weeks unless this is not feasible. If you need to go inactive for an extended amount of time, under the correct circumstances and reasonings; you will be asked to provide regular updates on how soon/ when you can return to your MR/HR duties.

Upon making a notice, you will need to inform the administration department member of your ROBLOX username and reasoning of the notice. If the reason isn’t that significant/ inactivity could be avoided, the corporate will suggest ways to go-about completing the activity requirements to avoid having multiple notices on your records.

In-game Staff Assistance

There will be times when the game is more active at different times of day. During these times, more administrative members will be acquired to manage the help that is needed. To ensure in-game operations are administered appropriately; we have a ping in the communications server ‘@ staff assistance’ that can be used in times where more MRs and HRs are required in-game.

The ping can be used at any time, but narrowly when it is actually needed. You must make the independent and common decision as to whether you believe a ping for extra in-game assistance is necessary and wouldn’t be wasting other people’s time.

General Q&A Information

Recited below are the answers to general questions that members of the MR team may usually have. If you have a different question you would like an answer to, you are welcome to contact a corporate member (Vice President or above) for an immediate answer.

What is the Staff Assistant mentorship system?

To ensure all our staff members ranked Staff Assistant+ have the understanding and expertise to certify that they are capable of acknowledging the duties of a MR, Head Barista will be selectively chosen through the fact that they have exhibited MR qualities; they will then be offered the opportunity to embark upon the Staff Assistant mentorship programme. Unfortunately, this program is not applicable.

For the duration of the Staff Assistant mentorship, the new Staff Assistant will be guided alongside the entirety of the Administration Department to give them the finest chance of excelling through the mentorship programme. For the perpetuation of the mentorship, they will need to:

keep active at the cafe
• had their first training session supervised by a member of the administration department

By progressing through the steps above, the SA has a higher chance of receiving the evaluation assessment promptly. If the SA does not complete the steps above within the first week of their mentorship, they will need to be put in reconsideration for the position of Staff Assistant.

The Head Barista will be promoted to Staff Assistant (by an administration department member); they will then be eligible to take part. During the program, the new Staff Assistants will be provided with all Auahi documentations and materials. Upon evaluating all the guidance, the Staff Assistant will be provided with a basic Auahi/ MR knowledge assessment to assess their comprehension and understanding of their position.

The Staff Assistant will have unlimited attempts to complete the assessment at any time of day, without a cooldown or as such. If they acquire the set amount of points to pass, they will be granted full-access to their MR position. If the user fails a few times (despite guidance on corrections), it will prove to us that they are not a stable candidate to thrive within a MR position at the time of applying. They will be demoted back down to Head Barista, and provided the opportunity at a later date for re-completion.

Where can I find information for departments?

Our #information channel in our communications servers supplies all the necessary information concerning our Auahi’ departments. In addition, each department is explained in detail within our official handbook, the link has been allocated below:

Auahi — Official Handbook

Where can I locate all the Auahi guides?

If you are trying to find all our Auahi guides and handbooks (rank-locked or public), you will be able to find them through the specific rank-locked channels/ public channels in our communications server.

Can I have alt accounts & safe-chat as a Auahi MR?

We do authorize alts (alternative accounts) on ROBLOX & in our communications server, although they should not be permitted in circumstances where you are attempting to invade punishments. For example: switching communications server accounts to clear your infraction slate would not be allowed.

To be an Auahi MR (and to fall in line with ROBLOX’s & our communications servers’ guidelines); you will not be permitted to have safe-chat or be aged under 13 to become a higher ranking member of the group. This is to guarantee that all staff are safe and to certify a standard level of maturity is maintained. In addition, a user with safe-chat will only be allowed to rank up to Head Barista until their account has aged.

Who should I contact regarding a question I have?

It usually depends on the severity of the concern. For example, any development bugs or game fixes will need to be suggested to a developer. If you have any questions about departments, you’ll be able to find information in the fundamental communication channels. If you have a question you think only a corporate member can answer, you can articulate your inquiry to a Vice President +, we will be happy to help.

How long are my suggested activity requirements?

All activity guidance can be discovered in the topics listed above. Even though we encourage a certain level of activity, this does not mean you cannot exceed above the ‘set’ suggestions, or go under the statutory specifications. As long as you meet your suggested activity per week, you will preserve your rank at our facilities. Supplementary, we will not conduct reformations of staff members unless completely necessary.

How many sessions should I host a week?

Stated in our guidelines, Staff Assistant + are proposed to attend one to two (or more) training/ interview sessions every two days. Supervisor + are eligible to host training sessions; there is no set limit of the amount of sessions you can host throughout the week; it will be mandatory for Supervisor + to host (at bare-minimum) one session per week.
