The new audio visualization feature is AMAZING, but one problem I’m experiencing is that some emitters are muffled due to being partially “obstructed” within meshes or unions. Having a visual representation of an area’s acoustics or how muffled an emitter is would greatly help.
This would honestly make emitter placement far easier as I wouldn’t have to go into run/playtest and go back to change something.
Additionally, it would be nice to be able to change the acoustic handling on individual parts (in this way, I would set parts so it wouldn’t affect any acoustics.
Pictured below is an example of what I’m dealing with. The highlighted part contains a sound emitter, and is muffled most likely due to the metal union surrounding it. Moving the part away from the metal does solve the muffling issue, but knowing this relation in the first place would be beneficial.
