Essentially, upon clicking play on an audio, it starts but in a odd way. It seems as though its starting twice so it seems okay but sounds odd. Then, after playing it again, it overlaps and gets out of sync causing really odd overlapping to happen very quickly.
This seems to happen with all audio I’m playing/previewing as of now.
REPRO:
Open a baseplate, open toolbox, and click play on an audio. Once you’ve clicked play, you will notice a slight delay or odd sound. Once you’ve clicked it to play again, you will get overlapping and yet still playing audio. Keep clicking for it to get more distroted/overlapped. It can overlap from what I can hear, up to 3-4 times?
This issue is still present on Studio 0.474.0.420553 and it makes searching the Toolbox for sounds more difficult, because I have to insert the audio and preview it from the explorer in order to accurately listen to the sound. This is orders slower than just clicking the play button on the results list.
In the following video I reproduce the issue by starting and stopping the same audio preview, but it also happens whenever Studio is slower than normal.
On rare occasions I also sometimes also hear the previous audio’s preview instead of the one I’m currently trying to listen to, and sometimes it just plays the preview up to some time and then it just stops. I was not able to get a reliable list of reproduction steps for these issues.
