Audio still getting auto-moderated after it was removed already, terminating my account in the process

Hello Devforum! I need help in figuring this one out.

So for context, I uploaded a rally car engine sound (context: Audi Quattro, Group 4 rally car, not the Group B one) to ROBLOX in January 20th this year, and after a few minutes I was given a Warning for uploading a Disruptive Audio, so I was like: “Okay, I will not use this loud audio and find an alternative one that isn’t as loud as the one I tried uploading.”, and found one that worked and abided with all the rules of the Terms of Service.

…Until March 21st rolled in.

On March 21st, I received another Warning, but it was the same audio ID that was removed on January 20th, how could this even happen? Well, the first sensible thing I tried doing was sending an appeal through the new “Violations & Appeals” place, but both of the appeals were denied. I didn’t really think much of it and kept on developing my games.

Oh, but it didn’t stop there, on March 22nd I got a 1-Day Ban for the same. audio. again. after it was deleted. I started worrying about the status of my account hitting “Terminated” very soon and on March 25th I got a whole 7-Day Ban, and then was given my first Termination.


^ I atleast managed to appeal my first Termination, not sure if it was by pure luck, but most of the appeals were denied in like 1-2 minutes, the accepted one was the termination.

Well, after my 7-day ban was gone I thought I was safe, my account would stop receiving these flags but then… April 4th was the last day my account would see the light of the day.

The audio got flagged again on April 4th, even though I tried appealing, It didn’t get accepted and now my account has been finally terminated, I honestly gave up on trying to save my account from it’s inevitable fate, since the AI that was determining if the asset was already taken down or not decided to just pull the trigger and terminate my account with no second-checks. But wait… there’s more!

On April 8th, I checked my e-mail to see a mail coming from no-reply, stating my audio was taken down… but my account is already gone though? Why is it still flagging the audio? Until I checked my Violations…

Even to this day, I still receive flags for the same audio that was already removed by the moderation system, without end.

I literally don’t know how to explain this, but my theory is that, ROBLOX must have changed something in the moderation check when the asset is removed it doesn’t get checked for the audio that I have, which causes the repeated flags to occur. But I’m not sure, what I’m asking from the Devforum is that, I need help in figuring out why this is happening and how can I fix this issue on my end?

I tried writing to ROBLOX Support, but I couldn’t reach a human to review my case, since all I got was replies from bots and AI.
If someone or somebody can help me out on this, please let me know. I’ll try my best to give as much context as possible.

This is ridiculous. Just goes to show how little thought is put into roblox moderation

My buddy @quickie_q Can literally describe the same experience…Human support undid his termination, putting it as a warning, hut roblox’s asset AI Moderation decided to hit him with a 7 day ban (albeit likely the same exact thing that was the cause)
(This is what he has…)

Yeah, he was in the initial post aswell, before I got terminated.
From the image given, he is also facing the same problems. Wishing him luck on getting his account back.

how in the world does this even happen?? this is nothing i’ve ever seen occur on this god forsaken platform

Oh he did, but now a 7 day ban, and probably another termination if it keeps up. Great job roblox.

This is what happens when you heavily depend on Auto-Moderation, without patching the bugs that could cause major problems in the future.

I don’t blame them, ROBLOX is a large platform and there are tons of spam accounts that break the Terms of Service every day. They have to use it to keep the platform safe.

I wish a ROBLOX Staff member sees this and gets the message to the correct handlers as soon as possible.

QUICK UPDATE: ROBLOX Support helped me out finally and investigated the issue.

So, somebody at ROBLOX actually checked out what was going on, and I got my Termination down to a Warning. If somebody is having a problem similar to this to this day, let me know. If anything else happens, I’ll share it here.

I’m still confused on why I would get immediately swarmed with flags when I had a pretty clean record from the start.
