You know i thought i would get a reply fast lol (i was wrong)
Edit: imma check this later cuz this is gonna take quite a while
I have played a bit, good game!
But do you updating this cool blue platform (when walking on a void) and other animated parts on server side? It would be better to update it on client.
Also the graphics is very simple, maps are empty, add some details, more effects, etc.
You can make aura like effects for example
Good luck for the game!
I do update the one on your screen on the client yes, but there is a separate on on the server that is calculated on the server, I’m going to add empty maps to the improvements i need
I will add a little extra to every map but i don’t think it will matter all that much in a full server
Ok so UI and Billboard Guis in the ability area (I think its called that) are rlly, basic and don’t rlly suit the style. Thats all I could say on first glance rlly its also quite messy with all the text. I understand thats the point but maybe reduce it slightly. Other than that im pretty sure the games fine.
i will try to make the ui better but I’m not very good at bilboardgui’s. not sure what u mean by messy with the text tho
do you mean the signs are a bit messy because that makes sense
Bump, I’m looking for like 2 more feedback then ill be ready
what do i give feedback on when there’s no players
Actually a very good game, a few thing I noticed:
-
Obviously it’s designed to be played with multiple people, but it would be very nice to have something to do on your own, since anyone who joins probably wont stay too long if no one else is there to play with (Really depends on how complex you want to get with it, some basic pve would be best, but if not then you could just add a bunch of stuff to mess around with in the lobby)
-
A lot of the melee weapons feel very similar, especially when there’s a chance you can get multiple of them in the same loadout
-
Has already been said, but the maps and lobbies are all pretty simple, and end up feeling quite similar, interactable environments / map specific features would go a long way
