Around three weeks ago, I was having issues with experiences that would teleport the player from one instance to another, often getting the error 769 with about a 40%-50% teleport success rate. At the same time, I was getting another new error when attempting to open the Roblox client “error code: 0 Authentication Failed”. This happens across all Roblox experiences for me. Both issues still persist, and I have done the following to fix it and troubleshoot it and none had any differing result.
- Swapping from Ethernet to Wi-fi, Cloudflare WARP, and mobile Hotspot
- Reinstalling Roblox
- Restarting my router
- Restarting my PC
- Flushed DNS
- Reset Winsock
- Reset TCP/IP
- Allowed Roblox though firewall
- Changed DNS
- Cleared AppData & Temp folders
- Reinstalled & Updated network drivers
- SFC /scannow & DISM /RestoreHealth
- Verified TLS 1.2 & 1.3 were enabled
- Verified no proxy in LAN settings
- Verified host files were clean
- Tested multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera GX)
- Tested multiple Roblox accounts
- Disabled Antivirus
- Ran Roblox as Administrator
