I’m not sure if this counts as a bug, but recently my account was terminated for “account theft”. I tried to appeal through the Roblox support website, but every time i sumbit a ticket, I receive this message every time : “Your account status is in connection to Roblox’s anti-cheat detections” which doesn’t related to my terminated reason
There’s already a bug report about Roblox Support rejecting appeals based on anti-cheat detection:
In your case, based on the thread you created in the Help and Feedback category, it looks like your account was terminated partly due to account theft, as well as receiving free Robux or being involved in suspicious activity like receiving Robux from compromised accounts. That would be considered a policy violation:
The account in the other report was terminated due to repeated DMCA strikes. Roblox likely sends automated, fixed responses to everyone regardless of the situation, which causes confusion — this is probably the actual bug. However, in both cases, the termination reasons seem valid.
Also, if you could explain the free Robux and account theft issue a bit more clearly, that would probably help a lot.
I received Robux from a completely legit giveaway. I didn’t have anyone’s account credentials or do anything about like access to someone account , all I did was change the price of my private server and then received the Robux. And for that, I got banned for account theft? How is that supposed to count as theft?
And what more should I explain about the free Robux ?
