Auto Save doesn't work, and All of my project are Gone

like any other day
I was developing in roblox then, suddenly the lights went out, and I hope my project was saved (even though I didn’t press save as roblox) because there is already an Auto Saves feature every 5 minutes.

when I checked the roblox game place, I didn’t find any results from Auto saves, and I checked the Auto saves folder, and the version history in roblox was not there, as a result, the results of my work in the studio for 2 hours were lost.

Expected behavior

I hope my project was saved (even though I didn’t press save as roblox) because there is already an Auto Saves feature every 5 minutes.

and i expect to get back my those 2 hours project :sob:

I’ve been wondering where the autosave folder is for some time. It says that the place gets autosaved, but doesn’t say where, and my ROBLOX folder in the documents, which includes autosaves, is longer receiving the new autosaves since 2023 or something

Here they are, inside of appdata
I did look into appdata, but somehow missed it

yeah, the solution was online, that’s how I already knew. Instead of posting a whole bug report the OP should’ve just searched.

I do believe it is poor design, having it inside of the advanced tab. I’ve looked into the setting tab looking for a autosave directory setting, but couldn’t find none. It would also be very useful if it showed the directory in which it saved the autosave, instead of just saying an autosave was created

But this is stuff for a #feature-requests and not #bug-reports

aw thx dawg, idk why theyd put it like a hidden file, instead of just docs.autosaves since thats where i remember where it should autosaved
