Admitting he stole it is the most civil thing he’s done. However, boasting this “latest and greatest” plugin everywhere is annoying and quite possibly unethical.
This is false. I am not promoting the plugin as the latest and greatest. In fact, I have recently recommended users to use it in conjunction with the original AutoScale lite.
If AutoScale lite reaches out to me, I can immediately terminate this plugin on request. I want to take accountability for my previous marketting actions, and I understand what I did was wrong.
if you want to feel better, everytime you reply to this post actually supports it because it gets bumped again… so thanks?
In my opinion, it’s actually better to get constructive feedback than positive feedback. They both help in different ways, though. For example, which would you rather have?
I really like this! I’ll use it.
I would appreciate if the menu button toggled the menu instead of just opening it!
The constructive feedback shows you how to improve, so that more people like it.
I thought they already did? Maybe not, I didn’t see who created that plugin so it could have been some other guy.
It would increase the interaction of it, which could lead to more people seeing how the plugin was presented.
When you first made it, I was very confused on why you made it look like you were directly calling out Autoscale Lite and making yours as if it’s a new version of it. Please don’t do that again!
It doesn’t help that he reviewed his own plugin today with: “It does the job; no questions are asked. Sure, it uses the code for AutoScale, but it uses it in a unique way. Overall, I think they are being overly dramatic AutoScale fanboys…”
Must be nice to just call everyone who doesn’t agree with him ‘AutoScale fanboys’
Edit: He uploaded it on an alt as well. Because he knows what’s up
We have 2 reviews from the same guy.
1 review of someone because ‘free autoscale premium’.
And you, calling everyone who called you out overly dramatic and ‘AutoScale fanboys’
i don’t think hes inherently stealing, but I do agree he should be giving credit where its due. i wasn’t able to find a license of any sort posted for AutoScale either. he should definitely work on adding more to it though, the current state of the plugin is basically AutoScale with a “scale all” button. I definitely see the potential though, going through and manually scaling everything is tedious (i’ve been doing it with my games interface past few weeks and it sucks)
Fair, but you’re still promoting stolen code to a pretty high extent.
If you are doubtful of whether or not your plugin is in the green light, why not get permission before you boast about this new plugin, to avoid future consequences. You’re not making smart decisions here.
He made over 21 edits in one day, constantly changing what he said, and hiding what he did.
He is also known for doing this, and has done it in the past before.
Im glad that you find the plugin and I will consider adding your requested functionality.
Can you specify more about these features? For example, the functionality, significance, and clear recreation steps of how you may manually achieve this?
That way I can program the script in a way that represents your requests better. Again, thank you for the feedback and I’m happy to see you like it!
