Hi Devs,

I’m thrilled to tell y’all about AutoAlign, a new Plugin created by me!

What does it do?

AutoAlign aims to help with the work of creating moving platforms, if you’ve ever tried to create moving platforms, you may found out that Characters doesn’t actually stick to the platform without using AlignPosition and AlignOrientation Instance.

AutoAlign helps you with the work!

With a simple UI, you can easily add AlignPosition and AlignOrientation !

Notes

It is better not to use this Plugin on a basepart that already contains AlignPosition and AlignOrientation, because bugs can occur.

no problem! this’ll be helpful whenever i make a platformer

Instead of being a plugin this should be a script that dynamically works with any part (eg it has a tag)

I made this plugin on purpose to help with attaching AlignOrientation and AlignPosition instances. Which is needed for moving parts!

help me out professor, couldn’t we just use the create instance button?.. i mean i cant see any scripts and the plugin doesn’t really seem to do anything.

Of course I know that :joy:, I mean, the default properties won’t make your characters stick to the part, and it basically just modify those properties for you
