Autocomplete auto-completing text I am currently typing?

For some odd reason, whatever i type is the first option in the autocomplete, effectively making the autocomplete useless to me, i have to instead press the down-arrow to access the actual thing i want auto-completed?.

I was going to make a bug report, but just wanted to check that it wasn’t a setting, and if i was the only one?

This is for objects/variables from functions that have not been defined, aka independent functions that are in modules etc.

(This is a cloned object, so it has its pre-defiend properties, thus it doesn’t have the same issue)

You’re not. This behavior has always drove me nuts, especially since nearly everything I do is OOP related. Autocomplete is basically useless :joy:

I honestly don’t know if this is a bug or not. I hope it is.

this is annoying for me too, I would rather have the best result on the top instead of what I’m typing
