As a Roblox developer, it is currently inconvenient to have to modify the default Admin role for groups because it doesn’t grant enough permissions.
Current default granted permissions:
When I’m adding someone to the Admin role in my group, I expect that they’ll have access to:
- Post group statuses
- Accept join requests
- Kick lower ranked members
- Manage lower-ranked members
- Manage allies and enemies
- Create group items
- Configure group items
- Advertise the group (but not spend group funds, as the user doesn’t have the Spend Group Funds permission)
- The ability to edit/create games
- View the audit log
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because I wouldn’t have to grant these permissions each time, for what seems like expected behaviour for the second highest possible rank, 254 of 255.
I believe that a role of this rank should have permissions to do everything in the group except spend group funds, because I believe granting that permission should always be a conscious choice.
