AutomaticSize broken in Roblox Player

Reproduction Steps

AutomaticSize for Frames and other UI instances works as expected in Studio, but not in Player.

This has periodically happened during the past 12 months (we’ve noticed it ~4 times). Although it’s been somewhat quickly addressed in the past, something is clearly not getting tested properly before being pushed to production. I’ve privately attached relevant examples to this post and can privately provide our game link if necessary.

Specifically happening on both Windows and MacOS, iOS seems to work

Expected Behavior

AutomaticSize for Frames should function in Roblox Player

Actual Behavior

AutomaticSize for Frames does not function in Roblox Player

Hi @prisman , thanks for reporting the issue. I’m not sure how to access the private message attached. Would you help provide a repro file please?

Just checked now actually, a Roblox Player update was waiting and the issue seems to be resolved.

We just reverted the change but would still appreciate if you could provide a repro file, so that if the change gets rolled out in the future we won’t break your game. Thanks!
