AutomaticSize ignores its own value

At the moment, if you try to make your viewport square-ish shaped in studio and rely on AutomaticSize for animating text, have AutomaticSize = Enum.AutomaticSize.X there’s a chance the feature will scale utilizing Enum.AutomaticSize.Y

I noticed the bug this morning in Roblox Studio, while trying to record footage for a feature request.

I haven’t been able to reproduce the exact issue, but I did manage to get some textlabel size oddities on the Y axis. I’ll send the file in DMs.

Hi @Maxx_J , we are investigating this issue and wondering if you could help clarify more on the exact expected behavior? If the issue is that the text is not fully displaying - The text is cut off because it has a fixed height 0.06 x viewport height so text that’s out of bound will not display. Making the AutomaticSize to XY will get it fully rendered. If this is not the issue, we’d appreciate if you could share more context. Thank you!
