Avatar Bundles in V-pose play animations in Y-pose

When UGC avatar bundles in V-pose use animations, the animations correct themselves in a way that raises the avatar’s arms up in a Y-pose. This only happens when the avatar is animated.

I expect the arms to stay the same orientation instead of being raised.

I have a few questions. Any insights / details will are helpful for us to pin-point the issue and will be greatly appreciated.

  1. Is this character set up in DCC or the bones are from Avatar Auto Setup?
  2. Is the issue only in animation preview in Avatar Setup plugin or also happens in experience (e.g. Avatar Setup tool → test in experience).
  3. If possible, could you share this asset? We also understand if you prefer not to share this asset.

  1. The character was set up manually in Blender and imported to Roblox Studio.
  2. The issue happened both in the Avatar Setup and when testing in-experience.
  3. I cannot share the asset unfortunately because I do not think I have the original file anymore.
