Roblox’s Creator Dashboard includes an analytics page for avatar items that shows sales and revenue over a selected period on a simple dashboard and chart. However, one of the biggest problems I struggle with as a daily user of this page is that my sales / revenue chart and earnings #s for my profile are frequently marred by the inclusion of non-creator earnings from the resale of Limited items. Here is a screenshot of my past year’s revenue chart for my profile to illustrate an extreme of this exact issue:
This chart has been made completely worthless by the inclusion of a single, non-creator earnings transaction. I am not able to properly visualize my growth in creator earnings because tons of resale earnings from items I am not the creator of are included in avatar item analytics, even though these earnings are not eligible to be cashed out through the Developer Exchange program.
This same issue persists in the item-by-item breakdown of sales and revenue. As a developer that likes to participate in both the UGC Marketplace as a creator and the Limited item trading / resale market as a user, it is frustrating that I cannot participate in both without the later frequently causing me to be unable to properly guage my earnings as a UGC Creator.
Expected behavior
The Creator Dashboard’s Analytics tab for avatar items should only include sales and revenue from items that I am the creator of; particularly, only revenue that is considered Earned Robux (which is eligible for exchange via the DevEx program) should be included in analytics data.
